Meet the Owner

Blaze and Avery Burgess are both natives of Oconee County, where they currently reside. Blaze and Avery met in middle school, where their friendship continued to grow. Blaze began his passion for landscaping at the age 14 while working for a local company. Throughout high school Blaze continued his work in between practices and during summers. After graduating, he began working full time.  Blaze and Avery were married in 2015, and soon after welcomed their daughter. With the birth of their daughter, Blaze and Avery began to fulfill Blazes dream as a business owner. With hard work and dedication they created what is now, Athenscape.
